How Do I Become a Welsh Academy Wildcat?

Submit Application Materials

Submit an Inquiry Form in the Finalsite Admissions Portal
- After submitting the Inquiry Form, you will be prompted to create an Admissions Parent Portal account to be able to schedule your visit to campus, upload grades, test scores and letters of recommendation. Also, you'll be able to submit your Welsh Academy application.
Complete the Application Form
Provide the following documentation (Available in your Admissions Portal):
- Transcript authorization form
- Three (3) Confidential Teacher Observations Forms. (Please include math & English teachers, plus third of your choice)
- Both 4th and 5th grade report cards
- Results of state assessments for the past two (2) years (NWEA, ODE)
- Copy of birth certificate
- Current immunization record
- Cleveland Scholarship or EdChoice Application and Documents
- Completed FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment application and documents

Family financial information must be submitted to FACTS. Based upon verified need, families will receive aid for the full cost of The Welsh Academy.

Family Conversations

All interested families must participate in a family and student conference that will be scheduled upon completion of the application.
